Dream Dictionary: An A to Z Guide to Understanding Your Unconscious Mind Tony Crisp, Wings Books - This is probably my favorite of the bunch... it has more variety of entries, has examples, and is slightly more academic feeling. Some entries are extensive, with the "Archetypes" entry 15 pages long. There's not much other than dream dictionary entries, but it's the first book I turn to for symbol explanation suggestions.
The Illustrated Dream Dictionary Russell Grant, Sterling Publishing Company, Inc. - Much less verbose than Tony Crisp's book, although some entries have many sub-topics. This book seems to focus on the possibly predictive nature of dreams (i.e. dream of this and that will happen).
Remembering & Understanding Your Dreams Craig Hamilton-Parker, Sterling Publishing Company, Inc. - Pretty interesting, has illustrations by Steinar Lund and Lynne Milton. It's much more than a simple dream dictionary, but the dictionary itself is not nearly as extensive as others. Interesting topics like lucid dreaming, common dreams and famous dreamers. |

Following is a listing of the dream books I own... some I bought for myself, others were given as gifts.
